In this session, Rob will share how Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity uses geographic and people data to target resources and identify partnerships, uncover relationships between health issues, people and place, and reach wider audiences and see ‘the heartbeat’ of an area. Specific skills covered include mapping, storytelling, and creating a culture of data and analytics. He’ll discuss how Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity uses data to tackle health challenges affecting people in urban, diverse and deprived areas. He’ll describe how by linking geographic and people data, with records within the organisation, the Charity was better able to target its resources and identify partnerships, boosting its social impact and saving both time and money.
